Walk and Talk Therapy

In these difficult times, we at the New Forest Mindfulness Centre are trying to find new ways to build relationships with our clients, to help people and offer our services in a way which fosters human connect.  

With this in mind, we are delighted to be able to offer our usual one to one therapy as 'walking therapy', based here in the beautiful New Forest. 

How it works 

- Dr Maret Dymond-Basset will lead your session. You and Maret meet either in a mutually agreed Forest location (perhaps your favourite walk, safety and privacy allowing) or in the grounds of The Retreat New Forest. 

- You and Maret go for a socially distanced walk, whilst undertaking talking therapy. Therapy is based on the same methodologies as our regular one-to-one therapy. For more details click here

- Therapy is charged at the same rate as our usual one-to-one sessions - see below. We would also require you to have a 90 minute assessment online, via Zoom, if you are a new client.

Fees for Therapy 

£100 per 50 minute session. 

As a social enterprise we offer discounts on these rates to people with low incomes. Please get in touch if this applies to you.

We are also offering discounts to key workers and those experiencing financial difficulties due to the ongoing epidemic. Please do get in touch and we will do our best to work out a fee that is affordable for you. 

The Retreat, New Forest

The Retreat New Forest is a centre for Meditation and holistic practice in the heart of the beautiful New Forest.
